Technical Project Manager

Position Overview

Lead the scoping, planning, and delivery of technology and business systems projects. Translate business needs into clear requirements, proposals, and realistic delivery plans. Manage multiple projects from initiation through go-live and business handover. Work closely with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and software vendors. Provide hands-on technical understanding to evaluate solutions, identify platform limitations, and resolve delivery challenges. Manage project governance, reporting, stakeholder communication, and change support. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and unfamiliar systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project scoping, discovery, planning, and proposal development from initial business problem through approval.
Translate business requirements into clear scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and delivery plans.
Manage multiple technology projects end-to-end, from initiation and build through testing, go-live, hypercare, and handover.
Lead SaaS platform implementations and system integrations, including hands-on HubSpot configuration.
Review data models, integration specifications, APIs, field mappings, and migration results to ensure technical accuracy.
Manage project budgets, costs, timelines, scope, risks, and change control.
Coordinate UAT, data migration, cutover, rollback planning, and go-live activities.
Manage software vendors and implementation partners, ensuring quality, cost, scope, and delivery standards are met.
Independently validate vendor-delivered solutions and challenge technical or commercial decisions where required.
Maintain project governance, RAID logs, status reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Support training, change management, user adoption, and post-implementation reviews.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system optimisation.
